This page explains what we collect about you, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Memoirs to Millions, sometimes written as M2M, is the program. The Life-Changing Wisdom Marketplace, sometimes written as LCWM, is our own bookstore and publishing platform. Same company, two parts of one system. Your records live on the Marketplace, and that is where your finished book is published and sold.
When you fill out our form. Your first name, last name, email address, which program you asked about, and whether you checked the box agreeing to hear from us.
When you talk with Asher. Whatever you share in those conversations about your story and what you want your book to do.
When you join a program. Your billing details, handled by our payment company. Your phone number, if you give it to us. And the work itself: the drafts, stories, recordings, and notes you share with us while we build your book.
When you write to us. We keep the conversation so we can pick up where we left off.
When you visit the website. Standard web information: your IP address, what browser and device you are using, which pages you looked at, where you came from, and your general area, meaning your city or region, not your exact location. This comes from cookies and similar tools.
We use it to write back to you, talk with you about the program you asked about, run your program if you join, take payment, keep your records straight, and follow the law.
We do not sell your information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
When you fill out our form, your note is saved on the Life-Changing Wisdom Marketplace, the platform described above. That is our own system, run by our own company. It is the same place your account and your book will live if you join a program.
A copy also stays on the Memoirs to Millions website itself, which is what sends your confirmation email. Your information travels between the two over a protected connection.
Having a record there does not sign you up for anything. It does not open an account, it does not make you a customer, and it does not put you on any Marketplace mailing list. It is where we keep your note so it does not get lost. The next section explains when things actually change.
There is one moment when this changes: when you join a program and pay.
That is when you get an account, and when your book starts its path toward being published and sold in our store. From that point, the Marketplace's own terms and privacy policy also cover that part of your work with us. Those are published on that site. We are not repeating them here, but we want you to know they exist and when they start.

Checking it tells us two things: you are happy to hear from M2M about this program, and you are happy to hear from LCWM about books and publishing.
Leave it unchecked and Asher still writes back, because you asked us a question. What you will not get is anything past that.
A few outside companies handle pieces of this for us. Each keeps its own privacy policy.

SendGrid delivers our email.
Stripe handles payments. You can read theirs at stripe.com/privacy.
Google Analytics tells us how people find and use the site, using anonymous data. If you would rather not be counted, Google offers a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Financing companies. If you choose to pay through a financing company such as Klarna, they receive what they need to run your application and your payment plan. That relationship is between you and them, under their privacy policy.
Some of our work involves writing a commissioned book about an organization's history. That means interviewing people who work there, people who once did, and others whose accounts matter to the book. Those people are not our customers, and many of them have never visited this website.
Before an interview, we tell each person what it is for, that it is being recorded, and where their words may appear. Each person signs a release. Anyone may decline the interview, ask that something stay off the record, or withdraw consent before the book is published.
We keep interview recordings and transcripts for the length of the project and afterward as the record behind the book. We do not sell them, and we use them for the book they were gathered for.
Our website uses cookies to remember your settings, count visitors, and support payment. You can turn cookies off in your browser. Some parts of the site work less smoothly if you do.
Email from Asher. After you fill out the form, Asher writes to you himself about the program you asked about. He handles his own scheduling, so if the two of you set up a time to talk, that arrangement is between you and him by email. Every one of those emails tells you that you can reply and ask him to stop. If you ask, he stops, within ten business days at the latest. Those emails carry our business name and mailing address.
Our newsletter. If you sign up for it, each issue has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
Email about your program. Once you join, we send you email about your own program, things like your receipt and your schedule. These are part of the service you paid for, so they continue while you are in the program.
We keep your information while it is useful for helping you, and for as long as the law requires.
Payment and tax records are kept for seven years, because tax law requires it.
We encrypt information as it travels, we protect the connection between our own systems, we let our payment company handle card numbers so we are not storing them, and we limit who on our side can open your file.
No system online is perfectly safe, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can tell you is that we treat your story the way you would want it treated.

Email support@memoirstomillions.com and we will answer within 30 days. If your information sits in more than one of our systems, we handle that on our end so you do not have to ask twice.
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what we collect, ask us to delete it, and opt out of having it sold. As said above, we do not sell your information. Email support@memoirstomillions.com to make a request.
Our programs are for adults, eighteen and over. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone younger. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
We may update this page. When we do, we change the "Last Updated" date at the top. If a change matters to you, we will tell you by email or post a notice on the site.
Connecticut law governs this policy.
