This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available, how to request them, and what to expect.

1. 30-DAY MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE

1.1 Who Qualifies

✅ You are eligible for a full refund if:

  • You are a new member (first-time subscriber)

  • You request a refund within 30 days of your initial purchase

  • You have not previously received a refund from us

❌ You are NOT eligible for a refund if:

  • More than 30 days have passed since your initial purchase

  • You request a refund within 30 days of your initial purchase

    You are requesting a refund on a renewal payment (see Section 2)

  • You have violated our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines

  • You have already received a refund in the past

1.2 What "30 Days" Means

The 30-day period begins on the date your payment is processed, not the date you join the community.

Example:

  • Purchase date: January 1, 2026

  • Refund deadline: January 31, 2026

1.3 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  • Your name and email address

  • Reason for refund request (optional but helpful)

  • Confirmation that you purchased within the last 30 days

3. We'll respond within 3 business days

1.4 Refund Processing Time

Once approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 7 business days

  • Funds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days (depending on your bank)

  • You'll receive a confirmation email when the refund is processed

1.5 Access After Refund

Once your refund is processed:

  • Your access to the community ends immediately

  • You will be removed from email lists

  • Any content you posted in the community may remain (unless you delete it before requesting a refund)

2. RENEWAL PAYMENTS (No Refunds)

2.1 Auto-Renewal Policy

Community memberships ($86/6 months) automatically renew every 6 months unless you cancel.

Important:

❌ Renewal payments are NOT eligible for refunds

✅ You can cancel anytime to prevent future charges

✅ You retain access until the end of your paid period

2.2 Why No Refunds on Renewals?

The 30-day guarantee is designed for new members to try the Service risk-free. Once you've renewed:

  • You've already experienced the Service for 6+ months

  • You had the opportunity to cancel before renewal

  • You received the full benefit of your previous membership period

2.3 How to Avoid Unwanted Renewals

To cancel before your next renewal:

1. Log into your account

2. Go to "Membership Settings"

3. Click "Cancel Membership"

4. Confirm cancellation

Reminder: We send a renewal reminder email 7 days before your renewal date.

3. HIGHER-TIER PROGRAMS (Builder, Authority, Legacy)

3.1 Builder Circle ($3,500)

Refund Policy:

✅ Full refund if requested within 14 days of enrollment

❌ No refunds after 14 days

❌ No partial refunds for completed sessions

Note: If you've received personalized manuscript feedback or coaching, refunds may be prorated based on services delivered.

3.2 Authority Circle ($5,000)

Refund Policy:

✅ Full refund if requested within 14 days of enrollment AND before retreat booking

❌ No refunds after retreat is booked

❌ No refunds if retreat has occurred

Retreat Cancellation:

  • If you cancel after retreat is booked but before it occurs, you may receive a partial refund (minus non-refundable retreat costs)

3.3 Legacy Circle ($10,000)

Refund Policy:

✅ Full refund if requested within 14 days of enrollment AND before any retreats are booked

❌ No refunds after first retreat is booked

❌ No refunds after first mentorship session occurs

Partial Refunds:

  • If you've completed some services (e.g., one retreat but not the second), refunds will be prorated based on services delivered

4. PARTIAL REFUNDS & PRORATION

4.1 When Partial Refunds Apply

Partial refunds may be issued if:

  • You enrolled in a higher-tier program and received only some services

  • We discontinue a feature or service you paid for

  • We make a significant change to the Service that materially affects value

4.2 How Proration Works

Example:

  • You paid $3,500 for Builder Circle (6-month program)

  • You received 2 months of service before requesting cancellation

  • Refund calculation: $3,500 ÷ 6 months = $583/month × 4 remaining months = $2,333 refund

Note: Proration only applies to higher-tier programs, not Community membership ($86/6 months).

5. NON-REFUNDABLE SITUATIONS

5.1 You Are NOT Eligible for a Refund If:

❌ You provided fraudulent payment information

❌ You engaged in chargebacks or payment disputes in bad faith

❌ You've already received a refund from us in the past

❌ You're requesting a refund on a renewal payment (Community tier)

❌ More than 30 days have passed since your initial purchase (Community tier)

❌ You simply "didn't use" the Service (you still had access)

5.2 "Didn't Use It" Is Not a Refund Reason

Access = Value

Even if you didn't actively participate, you had access to:

  • All community features

  • Live labs (or replays)

  • Educational materials

  • Peer feedback system

We cannot refund simply because you chose not to use the Service.

6. CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES

6.2 Chargeback Policy

  • Your account will be immediately suspended

  • We will provide evidence to your bank/card issuer (including these Terms, proof of access, and usage logs)

  • If the chargeback is found in your favor, your account remains closed

Chargebacks should only be used for fraudulent charges, not refund requests.

7. TECHNICAL ISSUES & SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS

7.1 If We Experience Downtime

If the Service is unavailable for extended periods due to technical issues:

  • We will extend your membership by the equivalent downtime

  • If downtime exceeds 7 consecutive days, you may request a prorated refund

7.2 Third-Party Service Issues

We are NOT responsible for:

  • AI tool outages (e.g., if ChatGPT goes down)

  • Internet connectivity issues on your end

  • Device compatibility problems

These do not qualify for refunds.

8. CANCELLATION VS. REFUND

8.1 Cancellation (Keep Access Until Period Ends)

If you cancel:

✅ Your subscription won't renew

✅ You keep access until the end of your paid period

❌ You don't receive a refund for the current period

Best for: Members who want to finish their current period but not continue.

8.2 Refund (Immediate Access Termination)

If you request a refund:

✅ You receive your money back (if within 30-day guarantee)

❌ Your access ends immediately

❌ You lose access to all content and resources

Best for: Members within the 30-day guarantee who want to leave now.

9. REFUND REQUEST PROCESS

9.1 Step-by-Step

3. Include:

  • Your account email

  • Purchase date

  • Reason for request (optional but helps us improve)

  • Confirmation that you're within the eligible timeframe

4. We'll Review:

  • Confirm your purchase date

  • Verify you haven't previously received a refund

  • Check for Terms violations

5. You'll Receive:

  • Approval or denial within 3 business days

  • Refund processed within 7 business days (if approved)

  • Explanation if denied

9.2 If Your Request Is Denied

If your refund request is denied, you'll receive an explanation. Common reasons:

  • Outside the 30-day window

  • Renewal payment (not eligible)

  • Previous refund already received

  • Terms of Service violation

You may appeal by responding to the denial email with additional context.

10. CHANGES TO THIS REFUND POLICY

Changes will:

  • Not affect refund requests already in progress

  • Apply to all new purchases after the change date

Current members will be grandfathered under the policy in effect when they joined for the duration of their current membership period.
