1.2 What "30 Days" Means
The 30-day period begins on the date your payment is processed, not the date you join the community.

Purchase date: January 1, 2026
Refund deadline: January 31, 2026

2.1 Auto-Renewal Policy
Community memberships ($86/6 months) automatically renew every 6 months unless you cancel.
Important:

✅ You can cancel anytime to prevent future charges
✅ You retain access until the end of your paid period
2.2 Why No Refunds on Renewals?
The 30-day guarantee is designed for new members to try the Service risk-free. Once you've renewed:
You've already experienced the Service for 6+ months
You had the opportunity to cancel before renewal
You received the full benefit of your previous membership period
2.3 How to Avoid Unwanted Renewals
To cancel before your next renewal:

3. Click "Cancel Membership"

3.1 Builder Circle ($3,500)
Refund Policy:
✅ Full refund if requested within 14 days of enrollment
❌ No refunds after 14 days
❌ No partial refunds for completed sessions
Note: If you've received personalized manuscript feedback or coaching, refunds may be prorated based on services delivered.
3.2 Authority Circle ($5,000)
Refund Policy:
✅ Full refund if requested within 14 days of enrollment AND before retreat booking
❌ No refunds after retreat is booked
❌ No refunds if retreat has occurred
Retreat Cancellation:
If you cancel after retreat is booked but before it occurs, you may receive a partial refund (minus non-refundable retreat costs)
3.3 Legacy Circle ($10,000)
Refund Policy:
✅ Full refund if requested within 14 days of enrollment AND before any retreats are booked
❌ No refunds after first retreat is booked
❌ No refunds after first mentorship session occurs
Partial Refunds:
If you've completed some services (e.g., one retreat but not the second), refunds will be prorated based on services delivered
4.1 When Partial Refunds Apply
Partial refunds may be issued if:
You enrolled in a higher-tier program and received only some services
We discontinue a feature or service you paid for
We make a significant change to the Service that materially affects value
4.2 How Proration Works
Example:
You paid $3,500 for Builder Circle (6-month program)
You received 2 months of service before requesting cancellation
Refund calculation: $3,500 ÷ 6 months = $583/month × 4 remaining months = $2,333 refund
Note: Proration only applies to higher-tier programs, not Community membership ($86/6 months).
5.1 You Are NOT Eligible for a Refund If:
❌ You provided fraudulent payment information
❌ You engaged in chargebacks or payment disputes in bad faith
❌ You've already received a refund from us in the past
❌ You're requesting a refund on a renewal payment (Community tier)
❌ More than 30 days have passed since your initial purchase (Community tier)
❌ You simply "didn't use" the Service (you still had access)
5.2 "Didn't Use It" Is Not a Refund Reason
Access = Value
Even if you didn't actively participate, you had access to:
All community features
Live labs (or replays)
Educational materials
Peer feedback system
We cannot refund simply because you chose not to use the Service.

7.1 If We Experience Downtime
If the Service is unavailable for extended periods due to technical issues:
We will extend your membership by the equivalent downtime
If downtime exceeds 7 consecutive days, you may request a prorated refund
7.2 Third-Party Service Issues
We are NOT responsible for:
AI tool outages (e.g., if ChatGPT goes down)
Internet connectivity issues on your end
Device compatibility problems
These do not qualify for refunds.
8.1 Cancellation (Keep Access Until Period Ends)
If you cancel:
✅ Your subscription won't renew
✅ You keep access until the end of your paid period
❌ You don't receive a refund for the current period
Best for: Members who want to finish their current period but not continue.
8.2 Refund (Immediate Access Termination)
If you request a refund:
✅ You receive your money back (if within 30-day guarantee)
❌ Your access ends immediately
❌ You lose access to all content and resources
Best for: Members within the 30-day guarantee who want to leave now.
